Donations of clothing, food, and more
Clothing
The Center always has a need for good quality clothing as we see numerous people that are either homeless or in need of clothing amidst hardships. We accept all types of clothing donations (both new and gently used) that are distributed both through our community clothing closet and our Lighthouse Gift Shop.
Clothing donations are accepted at our warehouse, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 10:00am - 3:30pm
Hygiene & baby items
Hygiene and baby donated items are accepted to help us keep our “hygiene room” fully stocked. Adult hygiene items (i.e. toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, etc.) are both given in our family hygiene kits as well as our smaller homeless or individual hygiene kits (smaller travel size are greatly appreciated. We also stock baby diapers and wipes (sizes newborn through pull-ups) for individuals that are in need of assistance as well.
Food
All canned and non-perishable food items are distributed through our food pantry at no cost to individuals seeking assistance. Anyone seeking food assistance must first go through our interview process to evaluate their situation and the level of need.
Food donations are accepted at the Main Building, Monday - Thursday, 10:00am - 4:00pm (closed 12:00pm - 1:00pm)
Household
We have some individuals that have experienced loss due to flood, fire, or other situations and we also accept household donations (i.e. furniture, linen, dishes, etc.).
